How the AtomX™ filter works
Inside, it runs through a two-stage system.
First, a fine prefilter screens larger particles to maintain consistent flow.
It then passes through AtomX™ media, which helps reduce smaller contaminants during flow while improving taste.
There is no waiting and no extra steps. Every sip is routed through the filter, so what reaches your mouth has already been treated. The result is cleaner-tasting water with a smooth, low-resistance sip.
The NOMAD AtomX™ Bottle Filter has been independently tested by a certified lab to meet or exceed NSF / ANSI 42 applicable drinking water requirements.

How long do NOMAD® bottle filter last?
One NOMAD AtomX filter filters your water at least 150 liters of water! That’s like refilling your 740ml bottle around 200 times, giving you about the equivalent of 300 single-use plastic bottles.
Is drinking from the NOMAD bottles safe?
Of course, we were also fascinated by this idea in the beginning. This is why we started testing in different areas around the globe to finally get results that showed that the water is 99.9999% pure after filtration.
